How to process high difficulty materials stably? Chuangkeda's "Double sided Coated Red Glass" Cutting Case

Currently, colored coated glass is increasingly widely used in fields such as architectural decoration, artistic design, smart homes, and optical instruments. In particular, "double-sided coated red glass" is highly favored by high-end project clients due to its vibrant colors, strong visual impact, and excellent optical performance. However, high-value-added double-sided coated glass imposes extremely high requirements on processing precision, edge quality, and thermal damage control, making traditional mechanical processing methods prone to defects such as cracking, burrs, and surface coating detachment.

Customer requirements:

The laser cutting of "double-sided coated red glass" for this project is primarily used in high-end decorative glass applications. The client explicitly specified the following processing requirements: precise cutting dimensions, high batch consistency, no edge chipping or microcracks, intact coating layers, and no peeling or discoloration. However, in actual processing, double-sided coated glass is highly sensitive to heat input, and minor deviations during cutting may lead to issues such as edge whitening, coating blistering, or even complete glass fracture, making the processing particularly challenging.

Solution:

The "Infrared Picosecond Laser Glass Cutting Machine" from ChuangkeDa features a high-energy-density picosecond laser source, an intelligent visual positioning system, and a high-precision motion platform, enabling non-contact, low-thermal-impact, and burr-free cutting. During the cutting process, laser energy is uniformly applied to the interior of the glass, creating clean cross-sections through the cold cracking principle. The entire cutting edge can be directly assembled and used without secondary polishing. For complex irregular paths, the machine's intelligent control system can accurately operate according to CAD drawings, ensuring every arc and angle perfectly matches the design.
