When a high voltage is applied to the electrode a glow discharge is generated in the discharge tube, which can cause gas molecules to release laser. After amplifying the laser energy, it forms a laser beam for material processing. The beam path can be changed automatically by controlling the scanning mirror with a computer.
CO₂ laser marking machine is mainly used in craft gifts, wood, clothing, greeting cards, components, plastics, models, pharmaceutical packaging, building ceramics, fabric cutting and other non-metallic industries. The identification of ink jet coding mode is not only easy to off, but also contains toxic substances, which pollutes the environment.
CO₂ laser marking machine has certain limitations and can not be used for the identification of products with metal. It is mostly used for marking non-metals such as wood, acrylic and leather.
